Carmex Healing Lotion Skin Care: Review

As a teenager, I remember carrying around a classic Carmex jar of lip balm. It seems like everybody had one. I saw several other bloggers talking about Carmex. I was thrilled to hear they not only have a lot of new lip products since my teenage years, but they also have moisturizers for the body as well. I was lucky enough to win a blog contest from a fellow blogger and received this awesome gift pack in the mail.

I have been using the healing lotion ever since. Like the lip moisturizer I have grown to love, the lotion also works well. It is a nice, thick lotion that absorbs quickly and left my skin feeling soft and hydrated. Winter is harsh on my skin. I go through a lot of lotion this time of year. It doesn't take long to finish a tube like the 5.5 oz. one I received. I was glad to see that Carmex also carries a larger pump size of the lotion. I also used the healing cream on my hands. I like how the fact that it was thick and absorbed easily without leaving my hands greasy. That way I could use it during the day and not just at night. I also liked the fact that the healing lotion and healing cream contain Aloe and Vitamin E. I definitely recommend Carmex healing lotion and healing cream for that dry, itchy, winter skin.

**Disclosure: I did receive the items as pictured free from Carmex as part of another blog contest. I was not required nor was I asked to write a review in exchange for product. My opinions are honest and my own.
