For the last week, I have been using the smoothing facial scrub. I haven't always been a fan of facial scrubs. I have sensitive skin and most facial scrubs leave my face feeling scratched and tender. I was hesitant to give this product a try, but the fact the entire skin care line is made for sensitive skin gave me confidence that it might be different. It was different in a great way.
Rice granules help exfoliate dry skin. The granules were a little bigger than I would like. However, they worked well. I did not feel any scratching or burning on my skin from the granules. I liked that it left my skin feeling smooth and ready for moisturizer. It did not dry my sensitive skin. There are no harsh chemical or irritants in the smoothing scrub which is important for those of us with sensitive skin. I did not have any reaction at all to the scrub.
The scrub is supposed to be unscented. However, there is a scent which I did find a bit unpleasant. Not enough to make me not want to use the product though. The scent is not a perfumed scent, but perhaps a natural scent from the added ingredients. This was the only thing I didn't love about the product. However, it worked as well as similar upper end products I have used and I like that I can find it at my local Walgreen's which is not far from me.
I also liked that the scrub contains Vitamin E to help improve the moisture of my skin. I have no problem in continuing to use it. I look forward to trying more products from this skin care line.
