| Mango Papaya Soap |
| I'm always nervous when it comes to trying out new soap. Especially the hand crafted artisan soaps. Many hand crafted soaps I've tried in the past have left my skin feeling itchy and dry. With Yester Year Soap Company, all of my anxieties about new soaps were quickly washed away, literally. Yester Year Soap Company uses all natural ingredients like vegetable oil so it did not dry out my skin. Pure essential oils from plant extracts to give the soap its scent, thus making it free from synthetic fragrances. Also, organic herbs give the soap natural coloring and keeps it free from harsh chemicals. So not only did I find a great product, but peace of mind as well. I received a stack of three soaps which included Mango Papaya, Night Jasmine and Sea Scrub. The Sea Scrub works well for exfoliating dead skin and though it wasn't my favorite, it is definitely gentle on the skin while scrubbing away dead skin cells. The Night Jasmine a natural dark hue, has a pleasant scent, not too strong. This is important to me as I have a tendency to react to strong, floral scents. My sensitive skin had no reactions to the jasmine scent and I am convinced it is because of the essential oils used instead of chemicals. My favorite, the Mango Papaya has a faint, fruit aroma. It smells more like soap than fruit. For those sensitive to strong smells, there is no need to worry with the mango papaya. The soaps go on smooth with a nice lather. The natural olive, soybean and coconut oils, combined with shea butter, prevent the skin from drying out yet cleanses well. I highly recommend Yester Year Soap. It is by far one of the best artisan hand made soaps I have tried. The packaging gives the soap a personal feel, like it was made just for you.
