I've decided I am totally addicted to trying new skin care products. I get excited every time I  am asked to try a new one. What's even more exciting is trying three products instead of one. 

I had never heard of mia mariú before so I had no preconceived notions about what to expect. Lucky for me, I found a new skin care and make up line I can feel good about. I'm an all natural kind of girl. I am most comfortable in jeans and a loose fitting blouse and earthy sandals or shoes. It comes as no surprise that I like the fact that mia mariú products are made with all natural ingredients. Their combination of high quality botanicals, antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and peptides give my skin a healthy feel.

I liked all three of the products I tried. The Refreshing Foaming Gel Cleaner and the Anti-aging Brightening Serum are from the Botanical Beauty Line and the Hydrating Stick Gloss is from the Perfecting Finish mia Lips Line.

Refreshing Foaming Gel Cleanser: What I liked most about the Refreshing Foaming Gel Cleanser is that it was mild on my skin with no heavy perfumes. It also did not dry my skin. A definite concern at my age. My skin felt soft after cleansing with the foaming gel.  A little bit goes a long way. The first time I used it, I wasn't used to the foaming action and I used too much. Putting a little bit on my fingertips and rubbing it in created a silky smooth foaming action that gently cleansed my skin. I did get a little bit in my eyes the first time, but it didn't sting like other products I've tried. My skin is sensitive and will sometimes turn bright red with skin care products. I did not have any problems with skin sensitivity. 

Anti-Aging Brightening Serum: I will admit I have mature skin. Yes, that means I'm getting older and my skin is drying out. Not only that, I have sun spots from aging. I am always looking for potions that will smooth my wrinkles and fade my sun spots. The Anti-Aging Brightening Serum feels like it was made just for me. While I didn't notice any dark spots fading in the week I tried the serum, I did like the way it felt on my skin. It was not heavy or oily, but still felt like it gave my skin the moisture it needed. The anti-aging peptides, the skin-brightening botanicals and the Aloe and Vitamin B5 are a perfect combination of ingredients for my tired skin. The serum is suitable for all skin types. It did not irritate my skin and it left it with a healthy glow. Perfect for my earthy look.

Hydrating Stick Gloss: I admit, as soon as I tried the Hydrating Stick Gloss,  it was my favorite product. Why? Because it glided across my dry lips smoothly and left them feeling moist for longer than my regular lip stick. I tried the Beso which is a barely there pink color. It left my lips shiny, with a subtle hint of color. Perfect for running everyday errands. I would love to the deep Granada color for a night on the town.

 The next three pictures show the progression of my lips using they Hydrating Stick Gloss. The first is me without any makeup. The next photo, I am applying the Hydrating Stick Gloss and the third is the finished product. You can even see the shine in the photo.
