This Veteran's Day Be American, Buy American.

I have a deep respect for our United States Veterans. After all, my grandfather served in the Army during World War II and nearly lost his feet in the Battle of the Bulge. I am so grateful I got to learn about history from his mouth and not just from history books. Luckily, my grandfather wrote his story. His written account has become a treasure to me since he will not be around much longer to tell it. Grandpa instilled in me a sense of pride in America. That is why I feel strongly in helping my readers find American made products.

It's especially satisfying when I find companies who give back to the people of America. At KeepAmerica.com, not only do they give back, they do it for those veterans who sacrifice the most for our country. By donating a portion of the proceeds to the Wounded Warrior project, they help wounded veteran's build a "new normal" after devastating war injuries. My grandfather would have welcomed a program like Wounded Warriors when he returned home from France with gangrene from his badly frozen feet.
KeepAmerica.com is committed to keeping Americans working. They have a huge variety of American made items from clothing and jewelry to tools and outdoor items. One of my favorite things is the line of U.S. flags actually made in the U.S.A. What better way to honor Veteran's Day that proudly showing the red, white, and blue.

The American Line
Uniquely Crafted Fragrances
I live in a house full of boys. I am constantly bombarded with different cologne fragrances. It seemed logical to choose The American Line of men's cologne as the Veteran's Day product to review from KeepAmerica.com. We were lucky enough to try all 5 scents.
First of all, I loved that each scent represents one of the Armed Forces. Since my grandpa is an Army man, I will start with that.
PATTON (Army)
The Patton scent is warm and woodsy. This was my 13 year old son's favorite. The gold and black box looks masculine. Great for gift giving. The black bottle with the gold lid looks elegant and the Army seal is a great addition. If I were judging it by it's looks, it is the most handsome.
LIBERTY (Navy)
The Liberty scent is definitely sea worthy. It kind of reminded me of a combination of fresh ocean air with a leafy smell. The white bottle with the blue Navy seal definitely reminds me of wide open sea and sky.
STEALTH (Air Force)
For a whiff of fresh air, the Stealth cologne is a blend of warm spice and basil. I didn't notice the hint of basil but it does smell like warm spice. Though not my favorite, my husband did like this scent.
DEVIL DOG (Marines)
A combination of cedar and tobacco give the Devil Dog a masculine scent and the citric spices add a touch of flair. The deep cobalt blue bottle is very good looking.
RIPTIDE (Coast Guard)
A fan favorite with me, my husband and older son, the Riptide combines sea and wind with musky spice to give it an unmistakable masculine smell. It made me want to cuddle right up to my hubby.
The best part of The American Line is that a percentage of all proceeds are donated to the Veteran's Administration. I can't think of a better way to honor our vets than donating to programs that help them out.
KeepAmerica.com would like to invite my readers to check out more of their featured Veteran's Day products. From fun things like Mindfield, the game of the United States Military to work items like BagUps that will help you get rid of those fall leaves, KeepAmerica.com has a wide variety of products made right here at home. Help keep Americans working and check out some of these great products.
