Totes For America: Take A Tote Review

I can't think of a better way to show off my support of Made in America items than by carrying a Patriotic Tote by Yvonne Totes at Take A Tote.

I took mine everywhere for the last few days, stuffed full of a couple of heavy books and even my laptop one day, and average purse items another. I wanted to see how it would hold up with all types of contents. After all, one of the things I love most about American Made products is the quality I can't always find with imported goods. My Patriotic Tote did not disappoint. I loved the heavy duty denim fabric that made my bag super sturdy and able to withstand the weight of my books. Since I love to sew, I always look at the stitching of the products I try. The Patriotic Tote has even stitching with no fabric puckers. The seams match up perfectly.

The handles on the tote were the perfect length for me. For bigger bags, I don't like them to sit to close to my armpit. The Patriotic Tote sat right at my waist where I like it.

No problem carrying a cell phone, keys, and of course several tubes of lip gloss in the tote as the two roomy pockets inside fit my all my extras well and made them easy to find. The simple to use magnetic snap kept my stuff from falling out.

Of course, I have to save the best for last. I love the stars and stripes. The blue star button added just the right touch to an already great looking bag. A perfect combination for me to shout to the world that I'm proud to be an American (well maybe just to shouting off my balcony to my neighbors). I have a few friends who are foreigners and they commented that they would love to bring a Patriotic Tote back to their home country for a sister or friend. I think the tote would make a great holiday gift. The versatility is amazing, from purse to beach bag and beyond. I highly recommend the Patriotic Tote for a product that looks like it should be made in the U.S.A. and really actually is.
