Revew: SO Delicious Coconut Milk is Really Delicious

I stopped drinking milk years ago because it made me bloated and gassy. Always adverse to the taste anyway, I realized at some point I was lactose intolerant. Come to find out, two out of my three sisters are lactose intolerant as are several of our children. I made the switch to soy milk long ago. My daughter loves almond milk and one of my sisters ended up giving up milk altogether.

Recently, I had the chance to host a SO Delicious party to try their new dairy free chocolate coconut milk. After just one sip, I thought I had died and gone to heaven. It seriously was that good. In fact, I wondered how I would possibly keep myself from hoarding all of the chocolate coconut milk instead of sharing it at my party. But hoard it I did not. Okay, maybe I did hide a few boxes from prying eyes.

I have tried various products with my group before and there is usually one person who doesn't like what we try. This was NOT the case with the SO Delicious coconut chocolate milk. Every single person from my 3 year old grand niece to my mom loved the coconut milk. My nephew, who is also lactose intolerant, told his mom, "That stuff is so good. Now I can drink milk again."
My grand niece, the very finicky little eater, gave SO Delicious coconut milk an emphatic thumbs up and even wanted seconds. Sadly, we didn't have enough for seconds since everybody at the party wanted to try it.

I tried to find the So Delicious Dairy Free Chocolate Coconut Milk at my local retailer. I didn't find it, but the employee in the dairy department assured me he would stock it in the next time he placed an order. What I did find at my local retailer was the So Delicious Chocolate Coconut Ice Cream. It's a good thing that I didn't find the chocolate coconut milk or I wouldn't have tried the ice cream. I would have missed out. I stopped eating ice cream a while ago due to it being the worst dairy product for my intolerance. It was fun to try ice cream again and not have to worry about a sore stomach. I would recommend the dairy free ice cream along with the chocolate milk. The coconut milk is as good as well.  I wish I could list the cons of the product, but not one person at my party found anything they didn't like about it. Even my teenage son who thinks anything remotely healthy must not be good, admitted that he loved the chocolate milk.

**I received the kit pictured at no charge for hosting a party as part of my involvement in the Green Moms Meet program.  I was not obligated to write a review and received no monetary compensation.
