Say Goodbye to Dry With Carmex
I live in a dry climate that sucks the life out of my skin. It's even worse in the winter when the use of heaters makes the inside air at my home even drier. Opening my sample of Carmex Healing Lotion and Healing Cream was like welcoming the return of an old friend. I've used Carmex for as long as I can remember. The addition of lotions and creams to their lip product line seems like a natural extension.
I've used the Healing Lotion and Cream before. Much to my disappointment, it wasn't too long ago I finished the last of my healing lotion.
What I like the most about Carmex's Healing lotion is that it hydrates my skin for the entire day, not just a few hours, and it doesn't feel greasy. The added vitamin E and aloe vera helps soften my skin. I especially like the healing lotion for my legs and feet. It keeps my legs smooth and my feet from cracking.
The healing cream has a thicker texture than the lotion making it perfect for my hands. I am constantly struggling with dry hands which makes my obsession with picking at my skin worse. With the healing cream, I can apply once in the morning and once at night. That is enough to keep my hands soft so I don't get the urge to pick at them. I've tried more expensive hand creams that don't work nearly as well as Carmex. I can even read at night and without getting the pages of my book marked up with greasy residue when using the healing cream
I have to admit, my least favorite thing about Carmex is the smell. While it doesn't smell as pretty as my scented lotions, I can attest that both the lotion and the cream work better than most of the other products I've tried.
I can find Carmex easily it at all of my local retailers and drug stores at a reasonable price. As always, I'm happy to to use a great product made in the U.S.A.
My skin really does say goodbye to dry with Carmex.

ReplyDeleteJust bought some of this for my 3 little kids. It's in the big tub - works great for those dry sometimes crusty (yikes) areas around their lips.

ReplyDeleteI would love to try the Healing Cream. I have terrible cracked heels and everything I have tried so far hasn't helped. I use Carmex for the lips original formula for years. I like the smell. Remember what was said years ago, "it's got to taste bad to make you feel better"!
