Anonymous: In a truly global economy, where many U.S. manufacturers can't even get all of the supplies or components they need for manufacturing their products in the US, I applaud any company for trying. Just because a company manufacturers 1/3 of their product outside of the US, doesn't mean they shouldn't be applauded or allowed to advertise for the majority of their product which is manufactured in the US. I urge my readers to contact a company ahead of ordering to make sure what they are purchasing is indeed US made. As long as a company produces even some of their product in the US, they are welcome here. When consumers demand more made in US products and are willing to pay for them, instead of demanding cheap imports, we will see more companies willing to bring manufacturing back. In the meantime, I will try to continue to do my part to urge my readers to check for country of origin on the products they purchase.
Trudy, I met you in my locally owned bike shop on Saturday. Your site is wonderful, and your mission is admirable. Keep up the good work. I'll refer as my people as I can to your site because I wholly believe in what you are accomplishing.
My company is looking to purchase 400 velcro straps with buckles. Any ideas on where I might find them made in the USA. Please email me at jschaeffer@brentw.com
Thanks for keeping it "Made in the USA". Let's bring the jobs back!
I did a little digging on Oroweat. They have a sister brand called Brownberry, made by the same company and virtually the same product. The Oroweat label is not sold in Henderson, NV but the Brownberry label is. You can find that label at your local Albertson's or Smith's according to the Brownberry website. You may also want to try asking your local grocery store if they will consider carrying the product or order some in for you next time they place an order with the vendor.
how do i set up a paypal account?
ReplyDeleteI find it interesting you are running an ad for Jelly Belly when 1/3rd of their product is produced in Thailand.
